Can We Live at Peace with Our Neighbors? Contemporary

Scripture points toward peace and love for neighbor...even enemies! And Jesus sets an example of compassion for those who don't believe. Although we are meant to live at peace with the people in the world, we are not to be at peace with the ways of the world. God commands our set-apartness in a world that is not our home. It is by living holy lives that we and others are able to see God, but when we blur lines with the world, our clear view of God blurs as well. So we make every effort to live in peace with others, so they can be close enough to see God through our holy living.
