Zechariah is an ancient book that paints an amazing picture of the future. In fact, Zechariah predicts more about the Messiah than any other minor prophet. Some of those prophecies were fulfilled in the life of Jesus Christ. The fulfilled prophecies give us confidence in what he says about the future Messianic Kingdom awaiting us when Jesus comes again.
