Following Your Desires Traditional
Series: Get in the Game
Summary
The Bible uses the term Desires to describe the bundle of motivations that you have: your passions, hopes, longings, dreams, ambitions, and affections. Some of us have desires that relate to particular groups of people: working with children, young adults, the elderly, the homeless, etc. Others have desires that relate to causes or issues: prejudice, the environment, hunger, race issues, etc. Still others have desires that revolve around certain functions: planning or organizing events or serving behind the scenes as needed. When our career and/or area of service lines up with our Desires, we experience enjoyment and effectiveness. We will also be honoring God and fulfilling part of our life purpose.
