This is a secure, hassle-free way to do scheduled giving for a set amount. Contact MARCELLA RAINE for directions on automated giving.
IRA Charitable Rollover
You also may be able to make a gift to Calvary Church with a distribution from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) and take advantage of tax savings. If you are over the age of 72 (73 if you reach age 72 after December 31, 2022) you could distribute any amount up to $100,000 to a charity of your choice including Calvary Church and the distribution counts toward your minimum required distribution but is not included in your income for income tax purposes. You should consult with your tax advisor to discuss your particular situation before making your gift. For 2023, IRA owners must be age 70 ½ or older to make a tax-free charitable contribution. Those who meet the age requirement can transfer up to $100,000 per year directly from an IRA to an eligible charity without paying income tax on the transaction.
After years of prayer, our congregation and leadership developed a strategic plan to accommodate future growth at Calvary Church—that’s what the Transform Campaign was all about! We’re excited to be done with our three-year campaign which accomplished two growth goals: refreshing and building out new facilities and planting new churches overseas. We’ve been blessed with contributions of around $3.2 million. It’s amazing to see God’s people giving so generously, and we thank you!
All gifts received after the scheduled end date of April 30, 2020 will be applied to reduce the debt we incurred for upgrades to both campuses. Thank you for your continued support!
Whether you’d like to give a single gift, schedule recurring donations, or view your giving history, you can do it all online. It’s quick, easy, and secure. We are fully committed to providing you with the most secure environment for your sensitive data. The only payment data that is stored in our system is for recurring payments. Any other card information is deleted immediately after the transaction is processed. Thus a relatively small percentage of donors’ information is stored, and all sensitive data (for both single transactions and recurring gifts) is secured using a 256-bit transaction encryption process. That means you can give with confidence!
We’re saving postage AND trees! Annual contribution statements are emailed to those whose email addresses are in our database. If we do not have an email associated with someone who contributes to Calvary Church, we will continue to send statements via USPS. If you prefer to receive a hard copy statement through the mail or have questions, please contact JEFF WILSON. If we do not have your current email, please update that in the DIRECTORY.
