June 6 / Lee & Regina Bloch / Brazil

Lee (American) and Regina (Brazilian) are church-planting partners serving in Brazil. Brazil’s overall population is greater than 207 million people with 29 million people considered least-reached living in the three southernmost Brazilian states.

June 13 / Austin Anderson / California 

Austin grew up at Calvary and has started a brand-new church in San Jose, CA. This area is the most unchurched part of the U.S. and is in dire need of more churches that are reaching people with the good news.

June 20 / Jon Wicklund / Trout Lake Camps

Jon grew up at Calvary and now leads Converge North Centrals camping ministries. Jon will give an overview of Trout Lake Camp’s exciting plans for the summer of 2021 and beyond.

June 27 / Nate Gustafson / Ohio 

Nate grew up at Calvary (he’s Ralph & Lyn Gustafson’s son…) and is in the process of beginning a new church plant in Cincinnati, OH through The Salt Network. Nate and his team are currently in process of moving to Cincinnati. If you are interested, Calvary will be sending a short-term team in August to partner in their church planting efforts during the week of their launch.

July 11 / Jordan Dornbush / Fellowship of Christian Athletes 

Jordan grew up at Calvary and serves with Minnesota’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) urban ministry in Minneapolis. In addition, Jordan coachesfootball at Bethel University where he helps train Bethel football players to come alongside and mentor Minneapolis high school athletes.

July 18 / Peter & Nancy Cole / Peru 

The Cole’s serve with Scalpel at the Cross, a ministry that provides medical and surgical care to the Peruvian people and the missionaries who serve them. Several Calvary people have joined Scalpel teams in the past and if you are interested, there are opportunities to serve in the Amazon jungle of Peru.


August 1 / Young Adult Short-term Team

Calvary’s Kairos (Young Adults) group took a week during college spring breaks to serve with Calvary’s close to home local partners. Hear how God worked in and through the team as they connected and reached out in our city.

August 8 / Jonas & Rachel Lengauer / Austria 

Jonas and Rachel are Calvary home-grown partners who serve in ministry in Enns, Austria. Jonas currently pastors a local church plant with the goal to create a self-funded, self-governed and multiplying church.

August 15 / Mark Warder / Pulse

You may recognize Mark Warder’s name as he recently filled in as our Interim Contemporary Worship Director at the Roseville Campus. In his full-time ministry life, Mark continues to serve with Pulse, an innovative prayer and evangelism movement to awaken the next generation to the reality of Jesus.

August 22 / Tim Grunditz / Hospitality Center for Chinese

Tim Grunditz is the Executive Director of Hospitality Center for Chinese—an outreach to Chinese students (and more) at the University of Minnesota St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses. Come hear the latest HCC plans for outreach expansion and ways you can be involved with one of Calvary’s local partners.

August 29 / Carl Nelson / Transform Minnesota

Carl Nelson is the Executive Director of Transform Minnesota. Transform Minnesota is a diverse network of evangelicals extending the Gospel of Jesus. Their vision is to connect Christian leaders, develop Biblical solutions, and equip churches that transform communities.

Meals on Wheels

One of our Impact partners, Meals on Wheels, needs YOU! This community-based service focuses on providing fresh, nutritious meals and delivering them directly to the home of seniors and others with limited mobility. Calvary partners with 15 other Twin Cities churches to fill the need for a fresh meal and a listening ear for homebound individuals. It’s a minimal commitment—just two hours, once a month!

Every Third Monday / 10:30am-12:30pm
