For fun I like to… swim or play with my 11 grandkids, hunt, play tennis or pickleball or golf, and walk or bike or do anything with my wife Maggie!
My family consists of… my wife Maggie (since 1984), five married young adults, and 11 grandkids.
It’s my dream to… truly find my delight in the Lord (Psalm 37:4), be a “stream of living water” blessing those around me (John 7:38), help those around me see “the greater things than these” that Jesus talks about in John 14:12-14, and to be about the “good works that God prepared in advance for me to do (Ephesians 2:10).
An unusual job I’ve done is… sorted pop bottle returns coming back to Coca-Cola at their Midwest bottling plant in the mid-1980s on the 11pm to 7am shift!
Things I love to do at Calvary Church… talk with young men and young couples about what God is teaching them, what he is calling them to, and where the edge of the Ephesians 6:12 struggle/battle is real for them.
